Dusty
Heres some wicked illustrations of the Dustbin Fairing era of race bikes.
This was a huge effort to really use aerodynamics on motorcycles in the 1950's.
In 1958, FIM banned the dustbin fairing, because it was dangerous with a crosswind.
^(check it on wikipedia)^
Basically the fairing acted as sail over the front wheel, so when a heavy crosswind
hit the fairing .....game over. Not to mention all the cooling problems this had on air cooled motors. These are some scans from this awesome book i got a couple months ago,

printED
Being around motorcycles everyday is definitely something that doesn't get old.
Then again neither does being in a print studio everyday.
Heres some prints i did over the last couple years before i graduated.
These only really were seen by my teachers and friends,
they haven't been on too many white walls or haven't sold many.

S1000 Har Har
I know the BMW S1000RR has been all over mags and the internet.
But with all the reviews of how it handles for a road race application,
I'm glad the guys over at Brock's Performance are already
concerned with its ability on the quarter mile
Just wait till someone uses this motor for pro stock motor cycle,
then the v twin bikes will really be hurting.
into the 8 second range with nothing done to the engine
8.48 sec @ 158mph

Beating the Heat with a stick
Since i attend school during the hottest part of the day here in Phoenix,
I've found running around after 7pm the best time to beat the heat.
Its still pretty warm by 7pm but it cools off super fast.
so while beating the heat i've been finishing up a roll of film
on my Lomo Fisheye camera.
Heres some film & digital photos from hiking up North Mountain this week
and some here and there photos
